Insomniac and partners GMO Internet Group, Creativeman and Live Nation Japan announced the official roster of global talent set to perform at the first-ever Electric Daisy Carnival (EDC), Saturday, April 29 and Sunday, April 30, 2017 in Tokyo Bay. The two-day festival will transform the breathtaking Zozo Marine Stadium and Makuhari Beach into a dynamic beachside spectacle, with four of Insomniac’s iconic stages showcasing the most influential acts in dance music, including Afrojack, Armin Van Buuren, Axwell ^ Ingrosso, Duke Dumont, Galantis, Kaskade, Marshmello, Martin Garrix and Zedd.

EDC Japan marks the festival’s 5th international destination, bringing festivalgoers from across Asia the industry-leading production and inspiring creativity that has made EDC a worldwide phenomenon. Representing every genre in global dance music, EDC Japan will feature pivotal performances from heavyweights like Nicole Moudaber, Seven Lions, Fatboy Slim, Cut Snake, Gryffin and Dubfire. A brand new Boombox Art Car designed specially for EDC Japan will weave through the festival bumping beats from the best local talent for Headliners to groove on the move between sets.

EDC Japan will have an unmistakably unique feel as the expansive grounds are surrounded by the glimmering waters of Tokyo Bay and the city’s twinkling skyline. Headliners will come together to witness the stunning kineticCATHEDRAL stage, a picturesque structure that premiered at EDC’s 2014 flagship event in Las Vegas, which has since captivated fans all over the world in New York, Orlando, UK, Brazil, Mexico and India. A reimagined version of the stage will immerse crowds inside the Zozo Marine baseball stadium as it comes to life amidst the stands with hundreds of lights, colorful flames, and two towering owls. The effervescent neonGARDEN tent will take over the Makuhari Plaza while the colossal circuitGROUNDS structure will host unforgettable sets overlooking the oceanfront.

VIP ticketholders can dance the weekend away on the sweeping VIP SkyDeck, featuring elevated views of kineticFIELD among a plethora of premier amenities and exciting activities to be announced soon. Additionally, playful costumed performers and signature décor will treat Headliners in Japan to all of the festival elements that make EDC a truly unforgettable experience.

 

Two-day general admission passes for the first-ever EDC Japan are priced at ¥26,000, while VIP tickets are currently ¥60,000. Single-day passes are also available with general admission tickets priced at ¥14,000 per day, and VIP tickets offered at ¥33,000 per day. All presale ticket types can be purchased here until Monday, February 6.
