Fast Company Announces Moog Music as one of the Top 10 Most Innovative Companies in Music
Today Moog Music announces that Fast Company has named it as one of the world’s Top 10 Most Innovative Companies in Music for 2017. The annual ranking honors leading enterprises and rising newcomers that exemplify the best in nimble business and impactful innovation.

This is the first year that Moog Music has been selected. “We are honored to be included on this annual list of innovators,” says Moog Music Brand Director Emmy Parker, “Like Bob Moog before us, we strive to build creative tools for joyful experimentation. This honor is a reflection of the commitment and creativity of our employee owners.” Other honorees on the 2017 most innovative list include Apple, Spotify, Facebook, and Google.
The Fast Company announcement comes just over a month after the initial lineup announcement for Moogfest, the annual multi-day music and tech festival created in tribute to Bob Moog. Started in 2004, Moogfest builds on Moog Music’s commitment to innovation through daytime and nighttime programming that gathers artists, futurist thinkers, inventors, entrepreneurs, designers, engineers, scientists, and musicians. This year’s festival will take place May 18-21 in Durham, North Carolina. In celebration of the Fast Company announcement, Moogfest GA tickets will be $50 off starting now until Tuesday February 14 at 11:59pm EST.
In celebration of this honor, Moog Music apps including Animoog, Filtatron, and the Moog Model 15 app will be available at 50% off through Tuesday February 14 at 11:59pm EST.
