How to Visit Electric Forest
Okay so the dates have been announced, the location set, and the lineup is scheduled, now you have to figure out how to get there. This is one even where you are going to need to sit down and actually read through the information provided on the EF website.
If you have never attended, it can seem overwhelming at first. There is so much information provided. You can’t get even finish one paragraph without having to click a link to find out what the contents of that extension are referring to!
If you are the “planner” of your group of friends, this is the time you want to make sure everyone is on the same page. With so many camping options, you’ll want to establish what everyone’s budget is. Here’s what you are going to be looking at when you get to the page called, HOW TO VISIT THE FOREST:
This year, Electric Forest makes an intimate expansion to two weekends. The First Weekend is June 22-25, 2017. The Second Weekend is June 29-July 2, 2017.
Wristbands for each weekend are sold separately. You must purchase a Wristband or Lodging Package for each weekend if you would like to attend both events.

Each individual who would like to attend Electric Forest must have their own wristband. The General Admission (GA) Camping Wristband is the most common wristband and includes a camping spot, and complimentary parking in your camp for carpools. GA Camping also offers early arrival with the limited Wednesday Arrival Parking Pass.
The best way to arrive at Electric Forest is by taking an Official Electric Forest Shuttle. Shuttles depart from major cities around the festival, the Muskegon Airport, the Grand Rapids Airport, and Chicago’s O’Hare Airport. Those who arrive on shuttles are eligible for complimentary early arrival, and tent only GA Camping close to the venue entrance.
Special GA Camps, including Her Forest, a camp for those who identify as women who would like to camp together, Camp Traction, a camp for those who would like to camp with fellow sober patrons, and Electric Forces, for military veterans and their friends, open for registration with the on sale.

Electric Forest’s VIP Program is called The Good Life. Good Life Village Camping and Sherwood Court Tent Only Camping are the main VIP camping options. The Good Life also offers a variety of lodging options throughout the expansive festival grounds…
If you want The Forest to provide a tent, there are several options in The Good Life. Electric Avenue and Northern Lights Lane are located in the Good Life Village, steps from the entrance to Sherwood Forest.
If you seek extra luxury, discover the Back 40 Enchanted Campground. This is the highest level of Good Life camping in enchanted cabanas with a whimsical wonderland experience, including brunches, happy hours, and more!
