Sam Feldt *Video*

Sam Feldt’s height immediately catches my attention when I enter the Green Room at Orlando’s downtown club, The Attic. At 5 foot 3 inches, I’m always a little amused at the challenges a simple conversation can pose when speaking with someone a whole foot taller than I. Sam has to consistently lean over to hear what I am saying but he doesn’t seem bothered in the least.

I was impressed that he took the time before and after the show to take pictures with his fans and speak briefly with every one of them. His heartfelt gratitude and appreciation was exuded even during his set.

He plays “Praise you like I should” for the crowd at the end of the night and says, “Do you want one more?…Do you want one more?!?…Okay, I got you!!!!!” His connection with the crowd brings a smile to my face as Sam brings out his “Show Me Love” single featuring Kimberly Anne. Effortlessly, he follows up the epic hit with vocals “Sugar Sugar how you get so fly” and tops off the set with an exclusive remix of Oliver Heldens “Shades of Grey” featuring Delaney Jane.

The crowd ate up the entire evening, savoring every electronic melody. The high was concluded with a euphoric finale piece, “Loreley” by Kolsch, which Sam used to transcend the crowd to the ultimate happy place; an impression every artist strives to achieve.
