Disco Killerz reunite with Liquid Todd on “Changes”

New York City duo Disco Killerz (Matthew Danger & Uri Illuz) and legendary DJ Liquid Todd (SiriusXM) reunite on “Changes,” their fourth collaboration. The package will feature remixes from Gil Glaze, LA Riots, Zack Martino and Aiden Jude with more TBA. “Changes” follows their previous chart-topping singles with tastemaker labels Armada and Crowd Records including “In The Music” feat. Hannah Rose and “Satisfaction” feat Larcy. Their unique partnership scored a major dance radio hit with “Stellar” feat. Jimmy Gnecco – a Top #5 Dance Radio, #1 BPM, #23 Billboard track which has over 4 million plays on Spotify and was Armada’s biggest North American radio single in 2016.

“Changes” perfectly combines mid-tempo dance pop with a defiant melody about coming to terms with how relationships devolve over time. “What was so bad about who we were when we first met,” the anonymous and mysterious vocalist wistfully asks.

“Our backgrounds are originally as performers and writers – so we really focus on songwriting and the structure that we think makes great pop music,” Disco Killerz explain. “Todd’s way more indie and underground then our tastes tend to go – and the combination brings a balance to the collaborative productions that we think makes them both commercial and cool at once,” they add. “At the end of the day, if you can’t play a song sitting on the beach on a guitar – it’s not really a song.”

Disco Killerz are NY based DJs, producers, and songwriters Matthew Danger and Uri Illuz. Their first release, “We Came To Party” with violin player Sarah Charness, reached #48 on the Beatport Hot 100 Electro House chart, stayed on for a full month in early 2015, and was adopted by the Chicago Bulls as their pre-game stadium hype track. Their collaboration with Liquid Todd, Stellar feat. Jimmy Gnecco, hit #1 on BPM, #23 on the Billboard Dance/Mix Show Chart and #5 on the Mediabase Dance Radio Airplay Chart. Their follow up track with Liquid Todd, In The Music feat. Hannah Rose, on Armada Music, also received heavy radio play on Sirius XM, Venus, and Music Choice, as well as climbed the iTunes Dance Charts.

Liquid Todd is an award-winning DJ, programmer and producer at SiriusXM Radio known for his highly-rated radio shows and dynamic live performances. He has created critically acclaimed shows – and even whole channels – at SiriusXM and some of the biggest FM radio stations in North America. Todd hosts weeknights on BPM (6-11pm EST) and programs an hour of brand-new dance music on the influential #betaBPM show (Tuesdays, 10pm EST) – nominated for Radio Show of the Year in the 2017 Electronic Music Awards.
