Sparkee Reminds Us to Live in the Moment in New Single “The Kids” feat. LIINKS
With his new EP set to drop this summer, Sparkee is proud to unveil the project’s lead single in “The Kids” featuring LIINKS. Channeling disco and chill vibes, “The Kids” is out now via Westwood Recordings. The song is inspired by the spirit of living in the moment and putting your worries to the side, aka finding your inner kid. Georgia Murray from the duo LIINKS tops off the disco chill element by adding her sublime vocals, with Sparkee gloating that the singer “completely exceeded the expectations and nailed the vibe”.
Sparkee is an electronic musician and avid guitar player making everything from NuDisco to Electro-funk. He draws most of his influence from artists like Nile Rodgers, Daft Punk, Justice, Haywyre, and Joe Satriani. In February 2018, Sparkee’s remix of deadmau5’s song Strobe went viral thanks to deadmau5 himself saying the bass-line was “technically impossible”. Sparkee then went on to release his debut EP on Westwood Recordings in June 2018 which is aptly titled Technically Impossible. The EP showcases his musical diversity and abilities which led to the EP being featured on Apple Music and iTunes in addition to landing at number 92 on the iTunes Dance album charts in the USA.
