WRLD x SMLE Announce

The tour coincides with SMLE and WRLD’s Heroic Records-signed new collaboration featuring Kiddo Al, “Stranded.” The single has already ammassed a whopping 50,000 SoundCloud streams in one day while the total play count continues to grow.

Both artists have been making waves in the indie-electronic space for quite some time, having been featured on many of the most forward-thinking bass music labels in the dance music scene ranging from Monstercat, Heroic, Lowly Palace, NEST HQ and more. With such similar portfolios, it’s no wonder SMLE and WRLD are teaming up for a 3-week headlining tour across the US. Both will be playing full live sets that will surely appeal to audiences of all genres.

“We’re beyond excited to show everyone our brand new live set as well as all the new music we’ve been working on. We’re big fans of each other’s music and also can’t wait to show you “Stranded!” – SMLE x WRLD

A project 6 years in the making, SMLE entered the music industry with a singular initiative: putting a genuine look of happiness on your face. The duo have already kicked 2017 into high gear with brand new releases on Zeds Dead’s label imprint Deadbeats’ first ever compilation album. SMLE also continues to see major success with their recent record on Lowly Palace, “Overflow,” which has racked up 400,000 streams on Spotify in just three weeks.

About WRLD:

WRLD’s also had a busy start to the year with two new singles released via Heroic and Monstercat respectively. “Hideaway” on Heroic has amassed 1 million across all platforms in little over a month (including 670,000 on Spotify) in addition to hitting the coveted #1 position on Hype Machine’s Popular Charts. “Everything” feat. Ashdown on Monstercat saw him touch upon his musical versatility by going in the complete direction with a melodic drum and bass release. Released only a week ago, the single has already amassed 300,000 streams cross platform while breaking into Taiwan’s Top 100 on Spotify.
